Caravaggio on MASP( Museum of Art of São Paulo)

The MASP is an amazing museum in Sao Paulo with one of the best collections in the country and is with the exhibition “Caravaggio and his followers” which has known works of him, new discoveries and works that may be from him but are still under study.
For the first time outside of Italy, the famous “Medusa Murtola” and the “Cardinal Portait” can be viewed from 2snd August to 30th September 2012 on the 1st floor of the MASP.
The exhibition also features works by 14 artists known as “caravaggescos”, they all used the techniques of Caravaggio differently according to their culture and individualities.
