Converses inspired by Niemeyer

Think of anything that might refer to the architect Oscar Niemeyer.
If you said, curves, minimalism, futurism, cutting edge, light, concrete, modernism you’re right.
Now, think of your clothing to transpose the aesthetics of the centenary master . That’s exactly what Converse thought to create 5 models of shoes inspired by Niemeyer. Being a brand of popular appeal, and kept the original models including prints, colors, cuts and stitching.
Overall the collection was assertive, with a caveat, the white model is nothing more than a chuck taylor with an application in red. It’s beautiful, but it is not unique.

The collection will be launched today at Cartel 011 in São Paulo. Unfortunately, at the moment, the architect remains hospitalized in Rio de Janeiro, at Samaritan Hospital.
