Brazilian Short Film is in the Oscar Finalists

In the pre-Oscar lists released on Thursday is a pleasant surprise: the short “A Fábrica” is among the finalists in the category Best Live Action Short Film. Aly Muritiba is a Bahian based in Curitiba whose film has been awarded multiple festival in the world.

The five nominees will be announced on Jan. 10 of next year and the Oscar ceremony is Feb. 24.
